Exceptional Goldens for Field and Home
Top Flight Golden Retrievers is perched on 10 acres of land along what is known as the Gandy Dancer Ridge in NW Wisconsin, the heart of America's prime hunting country. We overlook the scenic Saint Croix River Valley. Our kennel name was created as a hybrid of Topbrass Kennels (who bred our wonderful foundation bitch Cali) and the Northern Flight Hunting Retriever Association (who, oh so kindly taught us how to train her for field work). Our dogs are home raised and owner handled. They possess the true "golden nose" and a love of water and retrieving that make them a joy to work with. They are tireless workers in the field and calm, biddable companions in the home. Top Flight Golden Retrievers is proud that both of our foundation bitches (Cali and Tango) have received the GRCA title of Outstanding Dam.
I am an AKC Hunt Test Judge and I compete in Hunt Tests with our dogs. I am a member of the Golden Retriever Club of America, Northern Flight Hunting Retriever Association and the Saint Croix Valley Golden Retriever Club. Our dogs possess health clearances for genetic defects of hips, elbows, eyes and heart, PRA-prcd, PRA-1, PRA-2, Ichthyosis and NCL. Our pups are sold with a 26 month health guarantee. We strive to produce bird crazy pups with superior drive and trainability, while maintaining the classic golden temperament. We take our responsibility as breeders seriously. If a turn of events occurs in your life resulting in your inability to keep your pup, he or she is welcome back home at any age. At no time should a Top Flight pup be turned over to a rescue or shelter of any kind.
Our mission is to be ambassadors for the breed we love so much. We remain available to you for the lifetime of your pup. If you are within driving distance of us we will help you with obedience training and hunt training free of charge. If you are too far away to take advantage of in person training with us, we will do our best to help you via phone, e-mail and/or video chat or recommend a trainer closer to you.
